This way, multiple one-shot samples can be recorded on a track, or a single sample can be accurately pitch shifted across all the notes on a track. This allows melodies to be played using samples. Samples can be recorded on multiple pads using long and short samples. Total time available for all samples is about 42 seconds. Samples are automatically normalized and silence-trimmed for maximum fidelity and usability. Samples are designed to be in-the-moment so while they are preserved through a power cycle, they aren't stored with sets or instruments.
